Biography
Arash is a computational scientist and fluid dynamicist. He holds a PhD in Computational Thermofluids from University College London (UCL). He spent several years as a researcher at Imperial College London, where he developed Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) codes with application to low-carbon propulsion, aerospace, renewable energy, and environmental systems. In June 2022, he joined the Atmospheric Modelling and Remote Sensing group at the Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Science and Technology (Empa) as a Scientist. Currently, Arash's research focuses on developing CFD codes for heterogeneous high performance computing architectures with application to atmospheric flows and reactive chemistry transport modeling.
