Davos is a congress city with great traditions, and has been hosting one of the most well-known global meetings in the world, the World Economic Forum, for decades.
Hotels
In order to assist PASC23 participants in their search for a hotel, we have made a room block booking at several hotels in proximity to the Congress Center. We have secured a limited number of reduced-rate hotel rooms, which are available on a first come, first served basis. The earlier you book, the better selection you will have.
After entering your check-in and check-out dates and room type, you will be able to sort out the list of hotels by number of stars, rating, distance to the event venue, and price, and you will be able to see the remaining room availability at each hotel.

Welcome to Davos
Davos lies in the heart of the Canton of Grisons in the east of Switzerland, just a few hours’ drive from various major cities:
- From Zurich: 1.75 hours
- From Bern: 3 hours
- From Milan: 3.5 hours
- From Munich or Stuttgart: 4 hours
Davos Congress Centre is situated in the centre of Davos and is easily accessible by public transport and by car.
GETTING THERE
Davos Klosters lies at the heart of Grisons in east Switzerland.
Airplane
You can reach Davos by flying into Zurich and from there you may travel by train to “Davos Klosters.” On www.sbb.ch you will find information for your journey by public transportation. You may also decide to rent a car at the airport and continue your travels in the panoramic area surrounding Davos that way. If you are traveling with other conference participants, you may also consider a shuttle bus service (see related information below).
Rail
On www.sbb.ch you will find a timetable and all related information for your journey by public transportation to, in and around “Davos Klosters” (Swiss national rail – SBB / Rhaetian railway – RhB) and local bus in Davos (VBD) and Klosters-Serneus).
Car
Take the motorway in the direction of “Chur” and then take the “Landquart” exit heading for “Davos” and continue your travels in the panoramic area surrounding Davos that way.
Taxi/Shuttle
If you are traveling with other conference participants, you may also consider a shuttle bus service. Below you can find a list of providers:
Restaurant Walserhuus in the Sertig Valley (side valley of Davos)
Participants registering for the dinner will travel by bus to Sertig Valley (20-min ride). The dinner will start in the garden surrounded by spectacular mountains with a wide offering of Swiss appetizers. We will then move indoors and sit down for the main dish, before heading back to the garden to enjoy assorted home-made sweets prior to returning by bus to Davos. Don’t forget your jackets as temperatures will drop at night!
Main course options (to be selected at registration):
- Diced beef stew with polenta
- Polenta with local cheese
- Polenta with mushrooms and vegetables
Indicative drinks per person:
1 dl. White wine, 2 dl. Red wine, 5 dl. Sertiger spring water or sparkling spring water
Guests can purchase additional drinks on-site at their own expense.
