Mikhail Kirilin is a Research Associate and Doctoral Candidate in Applied Mathematics at the Institute for Numerical Simulation at University of Bonn. He obtained Master and Bachelor degree in Mathematics in Lomonosov Moscow State University. The main goal of his reseach is to develop new parallel algorithms, data structures and interfaces so as to be capable of efficiently building and visualizing adaptive computational meshes for large-scale tasks of numerical simalation. Presently, he modifies ways of data storage and manipulation in parallel as well as developing and testing new algorithms for mesh operating and processing.
