Het Mankad is currently a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Electrical and Computer Engineering department at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA. Here she works on high performance code generation for math libraries. In particular she works on developing ProtoX, which is a domain specific language with Proto in the frontend and SPIRAL in the backend. Dr. Mankad has a PhD in Applied Mathematics from the University of Texas at Dallas, where she worked on problems in reservoir simulation.
