Lidia Caros is a Ph.D. student at Imperial College London under the supervision of Prof. Peter Vincent and Dr. Oliver Buxton. She holds an MSc in Advanced Computational Methods for Aeronautics from Imperial College London, UK, and a BEng in Aerospace Vehicle Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, Spain. Her research interests are computational fluid dynamics, aerodynamics, and shape optimisation. She is currently working on optimisation of unconventional airfoils for Martian rotorcraft using Genetic Algorithms. She has been awarded the Amelia Earhart fellowship and the Vertical Flight Foundation scholarship.
