My name is Mike Schmidt, and I work as a Computational Scientist at Sandia National Laboratories. My research interests include PDEs, Lagrangian (particle) methods for transport via fluid flow, atmospheric aerosol modeling, HPC, and developing fast and efficient code for large problems. In my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my wife and dogs, food/wine/etc., and doing as much traveling as we can.
