Biography
I am a PhD candidate at Queen's University in Canada with a focus in particle astrophysics. Broadly, I study rare event processes, such a neutrinoless double-beta decay, that will help us to better understand the Universe. More specifically, I research, develop, and apply machine learning techniques to analyze the massive amount of data collected from particle astrophysics experiments and ultimately improve the rejection of background events which mimic signals of interest. Previously, I obtained a bachelor of applied science degree in engineering physics with an option in electrical engineering.
